WHO I AM

Straight answers, no sales team

I've spent over 20 years in IT, most of it in security-cleared roles across the defence sector, with time in banking too. My background is in DevOps, automation, infrastructure as code, and system integration - building and running systems where precision was never optional.

That's not just a coding background. Two decades of seeing how tools and systems connect, and where they usually break down, is what shapes how I design software today. The portfolio includes two apps built for Winsford Amateur Swimming Club, a real club with a real problem, plus HCC, an internal dashboard I built to manage my own infrastructure.

I'm based in Cheshire, UK, and work with organisations anywhere.

HOW I WORK

You deal with me, not a support queue

Pulsar Digital is deliberately small. When you get in touch, you deal with me directly, not an account manager or a support queue. I use modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding, because it means I can build things faster without cutting corners on quality or testing. I do not subcontract work out and I do not disappear halfway through a project. Plain English throughout, unless you want the technical detail - just ask.
